US MD medical schools Tiers

Tiers, this is a sore spot for me,

Its mythical, its made up and does not truly exist.

US medical schools are just about equal to each other as far as preparing the average US medical student.

These "Tiers" are made up by US Pre Meds and magazines to sell.

Except for Ivy league schools there is no real difference between the schools and as far as Ivy league medical schools I argue its all reputation anyway. An awesome great Doctor can come from the smallest Caribbean medical school or come from John's Hopkins, its not the name but the individual.

When applying to US medical schools keep your real goal in mind, becoming a Doctor.

Any US MD or DO school will help you reach your goal.

Caribbean schools can also fulfill your dreams but they are a tougher road, I will be posting and updating on the Caribbean school experience in the next month for 2011.
