OB my last day of clerkship:
2 GYN patients, Amenorhea work up with one.
38 3/7 NST
12 3/7 bleeding , was spotting really
2 Lab results visits
Went to hospital to check on labor progression then lunch
saw a couple more patients and then called back and assisted with delivery with complications, Cord around Neonate's neck, retained placental segments we had to manually remove, almost a D&C but not quite.
Learned a lot about how you have to be really attentive to details in OB, really impressed the importance of good assessment on me.
I'll Post more about the rotation and other things while studying for boards.
Since I have to retake, I'm taking the Summer to revise, study and take the tests.
Glad OB is over.
