OK been really busy, IM rotation, now OB rotation so whats new?

I have to retake step 2 CK and CS so I'm out of the Match this year and will try to get an Off cycle Residency or Match in 2012.

I'm taking 3 months to restudy and do questions for step 2 CK

My stats

Passed step one
extra Clinical time, ( about 9 months worth)
RN for 15 years prior to medical school
9 years volunteer work
US citizen
Want a residency in Family Medicine ( anywhere is fine)

Will graduate a Caribbean School this year

I do not know what will happen but I will stick it out and work hard and I know studying like this makes me a Better Doctor.

My advice to those who think about a Caribbean school? Its a harder road then I ever imagined, be prepared! I'm paying for these last months 100% out of pocket, and my pockets are below empty!

Giving up is failure and failure is not an option.
